Terms of Service
Terms for using Merclo
Last updated: June 8, 2026
Service
Merclo provides Shopify growth tooling, including audits, recommendations, approval queues, content and SEO improvements, connector diagnostics, and performance tracking. The service is built for store optimization and does not replace legal, tax, accounting, or financial advice.
Merchant responsibility
Merchants are responsible for their store, products, prices, policies, tax settings, payment settings, fulfillment, shipping, and legal compliance. Merclo blocks AI writes to sensitive operational areas and focuses on store growth work such as SEO, content, links, translations, and diagnostics.
Approvals and automation
Some Merclo plans may allow safe automated changes inside selected guardrails. Merchants remain responsible for reviewing proposed work, choosing automation settings, and monitoring applied changes.
Billing
Paid plans are billed through Shopify. Subscription details, trials, cancellations, and invoices are handled through Shopify's billing system and the merchant's Shopify admin.
Availability
We aim to keep Merclo reliable, but the service depends on Shopify, Google APIs, hosting providers, and merchant-granted permissions. Features may be unavailable when third-party APIs, tokens, permissions, or connected accounts fail.
